Personal Approach
The relationship between therapist and client is one of the key factors for a positive outcome. My approach as a counsellor is relatively informal providing warmth and where appropriate a gentle sense of humour. Clients that I have worked with have commented on the relief they have felt from being truly listened to and not judged. Counselling doesn’t provide the answers but helps you the client discover them and provide a platform for positive change.

Areas of Specialism
Having worked for Cruse Bereavement Care for over 3 years I have a special interest in bereavement and loss. In other agencies I have worked with clients who have struggled with depression and anxiety particularly where it has effected their work and close relationships. I have also worked with clients who have struggled with fertility and pregnancy issues including terminations. My previous work experience was based in manufacturing and logistics and as such I have a strong understanding of the pressures and stress people can experience in the business world.
